Welcome to the luxury holiday setting of Gites La Boudonniere, situated in the beautiful countryside of the Ille et Vilaine region of northern Brittany, France. The complex provides an opportunity to relax within an enclosed private gite setting , situated in expansive tranquil grounds of almost four acres including a natural wood, a heated swimming pool during summer months, play area, extensive lawned gardens and a small lake. As with most areas in Brittany, La Boudonniere is very close to woodland and forest – home to deer, wild boar, foxes, hares, rabbits, badgers and a large variety of birds including woodpeckers, kingfishers, cuckoos, owls, herons, buzzards, egrets and turtle doves. The popular Villecartier Forest and Lakes are only a five minute walk from the gites , where you can experience a whole range of activities including pony trekking, cycling, walking, adventure climbing, boating or you can relax at The Moulin Cafe overlooking the main lake. With so little light pollution in the area, the sky at night overlooking our property boasts one of the best views of stars, planets and constellations anywhere in France.
